Dear Family,
This is my initial entry into the Downing Family Blog. I have never posted a blog before so this will be a learning experience. My sweet wife has already called out my favorite words, "lets' eat". So I don't have a lot of time. I will post this and come back later to learn more about how this "blogging" works.

Bret, Just type in information like you just did. Give everyone updates about you and your family, share pictures etc. As everyone contributes it just makes a longer history of what everyone is doing.
